This week students focused on synthesizing their research through sensemaking and developing Point of Views (POVs) and How might we (HMW) questions, while exploring what it means to “sensemake” and “co-design.” Through these design processes students are encouraged to share early and often and validate their work through the work that others are doing.

A Point of View framework an help outline your design challenge into an actionable problem statement so that you can begin brainstorming solutions. Most importantly, your POV anchors your design thinking project and helps you articulate your challenge meaningfully.
POV musts:
How might we questions are short questions that launch ideation. They are broad enough to include a wide range of solutions but narrow enough to impose helpful boundaries.
Students were encouraged to start with their design challenge and POV. Then break down the larger challenge into smaller actionable bits and ask questions that open up the solution space.
